Flight Simulator X—Overview

Flight Simulator X has greatly enhanced multiplayer capabilities. Pilots flying in both Standard and Deluxe versions can talk to other players acting as air traffic controllers. Players can share their aircraft over a LAN or the Internet, providing an ideal training situation or a way to show their favorite part of the Flight Simulator world to a friend or relative. Flight Simulator X Deluxe owners can use the Tower Controller feature to guide pilots through busy sky lanes.

Missions
With dozens of missions to choose from, aviators can build their skill levels, and engage in even more challenging and fun gameplay than ever before. Flight Simulator X comes with missions that will grip aviators with excitement, push one’s skills to the limit, or make them laugh. Collect rewards and trophies for completing missions and then replay the missions using different aircraft. The Deluxe version contains additional missions.

Gamers can choose missions by interest or skill level. Tutorial missions provide a way to get started and teach both flying and how to navigate through Flight Simulator X specifically. Challenges have some unusual and amusing tests of skill. Airline Pilot missions put gamers in the captain’s seat, while Backcountry and Emergency missions take one to the far corners of the world and let them save the day.

Pilot Records
Earn rewards and trophies for completing Missions and flights. Aviators can keep track of their hours in the Logbook and build a scrapbook of photos from their flights.
